X1 Gold is the variation of the Donic Coppa X series with a medium-hard sponge. Even better ball control and feel with high speed and spin. The precision and control of Coppa X1 is second to none. The ideal rubber for most attacking players. Basic character: fast high precision spinny rubber, perfect touch.

Player's style: offensive with fast topspin, half-distance play.

This rubber combines spin and speed at a very high level. It really delivers excellent performance. It's a bit of a shame that it's so well-balanced it doesn't have a distinct personality, but that also makes it a rubber that appeals to everyone!

It's an older-generation spin-oriented tension rubber, but compared to other spin-focused rubbers of that era it's easy to get speed with, and it doesn't feel as hard as you might expect, so it's easy to use. The weight is also relatively light.
You might have trouble getting a heavy, spin-loaded ball out of it, but since its trajectory is a bit different from today's rubbers, it might actually be easier to win matches with.

Power type powerless (Experience: 4〜5 years) Spin and control

      Reviews by user

I switched over from Tenergy 05. The bounce is on the mild side, and everything seems to go in with a low trajectory. If you brush the ball, it comes in with tremendous spin, and if you hit it so the ball sinks into the sponge, you get pretty impressive speed too. Serves get tremendous spin, and even long serves have plenty of speed. But the biggest feature is the control — it's really easy to hit drives that wrong-foot the opponent, Waldner-style. The short game is satisfying too, with the ball stopping short and getting good spin. I don't know the lifespan yet, but it's probably around 2-3 months. I think I'll stick with this one for a while.

I use this on my backhand, and the balance between speed and spin is just right for me personally.

Might be worth recommending to people who can't quite get the hang of Tenergy.
