I had been using Roundell Hard up until now. With Roundell Hard, pretty much every drive turned into a speed drive, a shoot drive, or basically a flat hit, but this rubber is the kind where you really have to brush the ball yourself to get a proper loop drive going. On serves, you can really put your own feel into the shot.
I'd recommend this to anyone trying a tension rubber for the first time.

I'd recommend this rubber for players who've just moved past the beginner stage.

I think it bounces about as much as G1. The control is solid too, so it works fine from close-to-the-table up to mid-distance play.

For my backhand I was torn between this and Rozena, but I decided to try the Thick version of this one first.
My plan was Hard for speed on the forehand and Normal for control on the backhand — since this one has a good sinking feel, it seems like it can absorb the return well and send it back.
The short game is easy to play too.
Swing it reasonably hard and you get a reasonable amount of speed back, so even though I've only just started using it, I think it's very usable.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I used the 2.0 thickness on my forehand. It's soft. Looping is easy, but speed drives aren't very stable. Also, when you hit hard from mid-distance, it feels too soft and underwhelming, and hitting the net isn't rare either. It's suited for beginners. For intermediate players and up, I'd recommend it for the backhand instead.

This rubber has good speed, and if you go with the tacky sheet version, you get more spin too.

Used on my backhand.

Easy to land and easy to put spin on.

Pushes and stops sit down nicely, and blocks are easy to land too.
<Serves>
Not a crazy amount of spin, but a nice moderate amount.
