• The Japanese have influenced an outstanding rubber development "Bluefire" which DONIC have successfully incorporated in the production of Formula DONIC (FD3 3rd Generation) Technology. The result: Bluefire JP01 and Bluefire JP03.
• This is a new type of pimpled rubber in combination with the proven, dynamic blue sponge but with a somewhat finer pored structure. This lends the rubber sensational feel, with maximum catapult and a very high arc of the ball. The very grippy, taut but elastic top surface rubber produces maximum spin when top-spinning and fantastic control due to increased contact on the bat. BLUEFIRE JP is a very consistent rubber and suitable for most players. The quickest and hardest sponge version, BLUEFIRE JP 01 is especially recommended for close to the table attacking players as well as those who prefer to play away from the table.

This has the most spin in the Blue Fire series. The sheet is really high quality and doesn't slip, so it bites into the ball incredibly well! It's great for choppers - the performance for mid-distance drives and chops is really excellent.

The main strength is control. It puts spin on the ball and lands right where you want it. Also, it lasts a long time - the performance doesn't drop even after using it for two or three months.

It's easy to put spin on, so your drive attacks are stable, but it bounces quite a bit, so chops aren't stable and tend to go long. You might struggle until you get used to it. On the attacking side, it's easy to use on both forehand and backhand.

I think spin and control are what stand out about this rubber.
Not only is it easy to chop with, you can also put together a decent topspin drive.
Blocking was easy thanks to the good control.

I use it on the forehand of my Saberian blade.
Among soft rubbers, the speed was fast.
The spin might be the best I've felt among the soft category so far.
That said, compared to harder rubbers (like M2), both feel slightly inferior.
With flat hits, the ball bit in too much and speed suffered a bit.

Switched from Tenergy 05. The sponge is incredibly soft.
The spin feels about on par with Tenergy 05, but the nice thing is you get spin even without putting a lot of effort in.
Drives inevitably come out with a high arcing trajectory, but that makes them more stable. Don't expect much in terms of speed.
It's not that it's better or worse than Tenergy 05 — it's more like, even though they're both spin-type rubbers, they're completely different types.
