Of the whole Omega series, this is my favorite! The only thing I'm not fully happy with is that it doesn't sink into the ball that well, but other than that it's perfect.
The absolute amount of spin is high, and if you swing through properly you get speed, and it stays stable (the ball goes exactly where you want).
You can always take the initiative with over-the-table technique too, and it's easy to receive even against opponents trying not to let you attack!
Chops come in low and slow with a nice cut, and the arc rises back up so it stays stable. It's also easy to counter-attack and you won't get overpowered — everyone should try this rubber!!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Switched over from Vega Pro, using this on my forehand. It's easier to put spin on topspin drives than my previous rubber, and both power and speed are higher too. I think it's a really good rubber.

Used on the forehand side of a Chinese-style penhold blade.
I picked the harder hardness and it was way too hard, kind of freaked me out lol
Maybe if you go with the softer hardness there's something closer to medium hardness...?
When I first hit with it, the grip on the ball was amazing but it was so fast I kept overshooting - a total wild horse - but once I got used to it, the serves spun like crazy and the topspin drives had great extension, nothing but good things.
Also it's really easy to lift backspin balls!! This lifting ability is insane. You use the same swing as a normal speed drive and it just goes in. My opponents looked like they were having a really hard time returning it too.
Like I said in the title, once you get used to it, it's the strongest rubber out there.
Also way too durable!!!

I used this on my backhand, and the chiquita goes in easily, plus curve drives really curve - it's a fantastic rubber. That said, depending on how you apply spin, sometimes it just won't grip at all. Both the spin and control are great, so definitely give it a try.

Topspin drives from mid-distance to away from the table are flawless.
Close to the table you get speed, but it's hard to put spin on the ball.
I'm the type who lets the ball sink in and then flicks it out, so when it connects the destructive power is amazing.
I think brushing-style drives are stronger with this rubber.

When you really dig into a backhand drive, both spin and speed come out,
but if you don't dig in, it doesn't feel that great.

One side warrior (Experience: More than ２０ years) Just like a glued Sriver!

Looking for a rubber similar to the old Sriver from the glue era, I tried Evolution MX-P and Tenergy 05, but with both the ball flew too much or my receives floated, and I couldn't get the ball I had in mind. After that I used Vega Pro, and the ability to put spin on the ball was more than good enough, but I couldn't get any speed.
The Omega 5 Tour gives me exactly the ball I want! Hitting flat doesn't give much flight, but oddly enough, when you brush the surface for a topspin drive it clears the net.
If your play resembles Kim Taek-soo's, I think this will suit you. I'd especially like players using a single-ply blade with a penhold looper grip on one side to give this a try.All Speed Spin Control
