      Maybe it's because I used to use a knuckle-type short pips before, but the sheet feels too soft, and control is a bit hard.
      It's a spin-oriented rubber, so it does feel like it gets a reasonable amount of spin, but I also felt like there were a lot of situations where the ball lost speed before reaching the table, leading to net misses or getting countered.
      That said, the thrill of a smash when you catch the ball right in the center was a strange sensation I don't think you can get with any other rubber.
      I'd recommend this fairly strongly to advanced players, especially those with a decent amount of arm strength.

      Short pips mania (Experience: １１〜２０ years) A classic short pips♪

      My first impression was...
      safe? orthodox?
      It responds honestly to whatever you put into it.
      I've used Spectol for 20 years,
      and this is the rubber I finally switched to after trying quite a few different short pips.
      Knuckle balls aren't easy to produce,
      but you can get plenty of them depending on how you hit, which actually makes it more rewarding to work at.
      Flat hits and drives are also honest reflections of your own skill.
      This is for people who want a rubber that responds to their own input rather than to marketing claims.

      Spin bites well on drives against short-game balls and pushes. Blocking is also stable, and smashes are fast and accurate.
      Recommended for close-to-the-table penhold attacking players who mix offense and defense.
