Increased speed is the biggest difference between Flarestorm and Flarestorm II.
This rubber has what an attacking pips player needs: low trajectory and fast speed
The hardness of the rubber sheet was designed for "Close to the table" and "Controlled Stroke" players.

    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Designed to generate spin despite being a short pimple rubber
    • Outstanding speed performance surpassing other products
    • Suitable for beginners trying short pimple rubber
    • Hitting feel varies greatly among players
    • Versatile compatibility with both pen and shakehand grips
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveSpeed performance is outstanding compared to other short pimple rubbers, and the combination with Japanese-style penhold forehand brings out maximum performance. Highly recommended for first-time short pimple users.
▽ CriticalWhen using extra-thick, the hitting feel doesn't match preferences, with a crushing sensation and low-pitched sound, lacking the exhilaration of smashing.

Yutchi @ cut A short pips that can do it all

      Reviews by user

It's a short pips rubber that can do a bit of everything. I think a rubber like this would be great for shakehand players running pips on the backhand. It keeps that distinctive short-pips feel while still being quite easy to hit with. It also works well for choppers who focus on variation!

This was my first short pips rubber, but it takes on more spin than I expected and wasn't that hard to use. It's fast too, so overall it feels great.

I used the max thickness version. The performance might be good, but I couldn't get to like the feel.
It feels like the ball just squashes, the sound is dull, and it lacks that satisfying crack on smashes.

I臺 (Experience: 4〜5 years) Speed-focused short pips

      Reviews by user

Compared to other short pips rubbers, the speed is way above the rest. I think pairing it with the forehand of a Japanese penhold grip brings out this rubber's performance the best.

Since it's short pips, it's not affected much by incoming spin, and on top of that the speed is good, so it's great to pair with a rubber that generates a lot of spin.

      Yeah, it's pretty good!
But since it's not inverted rubber, the spin is a bit...!

The speed is way too much!

The speed is insane. For a vertical-pips rubber it surprisingly grips the ball well, so I'd recommend it if you're trying short pips for the first time.
