      The forehand counter has huge destructive power. Both spin and speed are at a level that drive players will be satisfied with. It's on the harder side but stays consistent.

      Paired with an inner carbon blade, the bounce is toned down a bit. Easy to put spin on your topspin drives too. If you want power above all, this might be the one.

      When I wanted a rubber that really flies for my backhand, this is what was recommended to me. It generates a lot of spin and has great distance, so I can lob or loop drive even when I back off the table, and it's also easy to do chiquitas and counters close to the table.

      This rubber has good grip on the ball, so chiquitas are really easy to do. Blocks are easy too. It gets a good amount of spin as well. However, on the backhand it tends to bounce too much in exchanges, so I think it's better used on the forehand.

      This is the best German rubber I've used so far.
      When you touch the topsheet, it feels smooth, but when you actually hit with it, the grip on the ball is amazing. When attacking, both spin and speed are great, so even someone without much power like me can generate real power. Blocks are stable too. The short game is also easy to control. Counters go in like crazy. It's easy to see why Koki Niwa picked it.
      On top of that, brushing the ball gets tremendous spin, and sinking the ball into the sponge produces a ball fast enough to blow right through in one shot, yet it still holds the ball well. I want to keep using this from now on.

      It pairs well with a 7-ply blade, and counters are easy to hit. It's easy to put spin on too, and the destructive power is high. I think it's perfect for the forehand of a close-to-the-table quick-attack style.
