First off, it didn't feel all that hard to me. Table Tennis Kingdom rated it the same 48.3 as the G-1, but it feels softer than the G-1 (maybe there's a lot of variation between individual sheets?). Gucchi's review said it felt quite similar to the G-1, but my impression was pretty different. If anything, the G-1 leans toward spin, while the V15 leans toward speed (I tested both on the same blade, so I'm confident about this). With the V15, I get the impression that a flat-brush contact grips spin more easily. So drives, counters, flicks, and so on were easy to use since you can get speed and spin at the same time. On serves, it grips whether you brush it or use a flat-brush contact, so I think this is worth trying even for people who say "I can't put good spin on my serves!" That said, the G-1 or Rakza produce more spin when you really brush hard, so people who can already put a lot of spin on their serves might end up unsatisfied. Also, even though I said it leans toward speed, techniques like blocking and pushing stop the ball firmly. It's not that it just launches the ball fast on its own - it gives you about 1.5 times the speed of your own swing. I think it's a really easy rubber to use, so please give it a try!

Of everything I've used, this is the best for my backhand. It's easy to put spin on, and it excels in control and speed all at once.

First, when I tried a drive, the trajectory was low and fast.
Even compared to recent German rubbers like the Rasant series, Rakza X, and Fastarc G-1,
the V-15 comes out faster.
That said, it doesn't reach the speed of speed-oriented rubbers like Bryce Speed.
As for spin, if you brush the ball it's inconsistent - sometimes you get an amazing arc,
sometimes the ball skids off flat with no spin.
It feels better, and grips a lot more, if you really sink the ball in.
With loop drives too, sinking the ball in a little gives you a deep, low trajectory.
For speed drives, among spin-oriented tension rubbers
it's top-class in both power and stability.Aside from the brushing inconsistency, overall it's high performance.
