Not much variation - even when I chopped it down hard, I didn't feel a very strong spin reversal. It's on the harder side to receive against pips.
Maybe if you swing as fast as Gionis does, it would really bite.
But the offensive side is really good. Used like short pips, you can hit nasty, quick knuckle balls.
I think this suits an aggressive shakehand backhand pips player better than a penhold pips player.

Baumkuchen (Experience: 6〜10 years) The pips are soft, but

      Reviews by user

These pips don't have that intense wobble or extreme-knuckle kind of performance - they're easy-to-handle, attacking pips.
They can also bounce like short pips, so I'd recommend them more for a close-to-the-table shakehand backhand pips player than for a chopper.
Swinging faster gives you a decent bite, but it's not an extreme spin reversal. The way it reverses works best mixed in with knuckle balls.
One thing other well-known pips don't have is the stability when hitting smashes and topspin drives.
The pips grip the ball well, so brushing it gives you spin, and I could hit drives that felt not too different from inverted rubber.
A notable feature is that, thanks to the good grip, serves can bite too - about as much spin as spin-oriented short pips.
I'd recommend this to aggressive players who rely a lot on drives and smashes with pips.

Yutchi @ cut Keeps the speed of Grass D-TecS

      Reviews by user

It's like a Glass D-Tecs with the same speed but without the variation. It's good for players who attack from an early contact point, though honestly I feel like using short pips might suit that style better. Recommended for players who really want to use long pips but still want to attack!
