Masamune (Experience: 6〜10 years) The best-value tacky tension rubber

      Reviews by user

I was looking for an affordable tacky tension rubber and ended up with this Japanese-made one.
It suits a penhold looper quite well. You get a nice arc on both quick drives right off the table and full loop drives.
That said, because of the tack, short blocks were a bit hard to control.
If you want to try a tacky tension rubber before spending a lot of money, this one is a must-try.
Also, trying it on the backhand of a shakehand blade is nice too, since it lets you create a contrast with your forehand.

Kaolin Mid-distance and away from the table

      Reviews by user

A rubber for high schoolers and above who play mid-distance to away from the table. Whether you sink the ball in or brush it, it travels a long way, so it's not suited for playing close to the table, but it's a perfect match for players who drive the ball deep from farther back.

Yutchi @ cut Spin and speed

      Reviews by user

Spin and speed are both at a really high level here at the same time. There's no particular technique that's especially hard to pull off, and overall it's a rubber with no real quirks, so I'd recommend it for people just getting into tacky rubber!
