I'd say the Basic is positioned for beginner-to-intermediate players and the Special for intermediate-to-advanced players, but honestly this blade makes spin super easy to put on and gives you speed too, so it works for everyone!

This is a really easy-to-use carbon blade. When you want to send the ball flying or get more bounce, it shows its carbon side and gives you plenty of powerful shots, but for stops, pushes, and other short-game or blocking situations where you want to place the ball exactly where you intend, it shows its wood side and settles the ball down nicely.
Techniques where getting the first strike matters, like flicks and chiquitas, are more than easy to pull off! The chiquita is especially easy thanks to the flare-shaped grip.
This blade doesn't really pick and choose rubbers, so I think it'll pair easily with pretty much anything.
In short, if you're the type who plays close to the table, cranking out topspin and snapping the ball back and forth, this blade will be a perfect match!Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

I bought this blade through my club team (got a discount since I bought the rubber with it too).
Overall it feels like a really great blade. Thanks to this blade and rubber combo (Rakza 7), I've been racking up ace after ace in both doubles and singles, club matches included lol (city and prefectural tournaments)
I've been playing table tennis for 3 years now, and I absolutely love the feel of this blade.
Topspin drives, pushes, blocks, receives — everything is really easy to do with it. I'd love for both beginners and advanced players to try it at least once.

Nittaku rackets generally give an impression of flexibility, but I think the Kasumi Special shows that flexibility at an especially high level among them.
While keeping the bounce restrained, I felt the control, stability, and ease of blocking were all good.

Topspin drives are just plain easy to hit. It's stable in the short game too, and gives good speed. The backhand especially feels stable.

I don't think this is good for beginners.
It doesn't have much bounce, but the speed and control are excellent.
I think it's better to pair it with a rubber that has more bounce.
Pushes are easy to do.
Topspin drives get a ton of spin and go in really easily.

If it's only around 80 grams on its own, that's too light. But the control is excellent. After I bought another one at 90 grams, I feel like it's perfect for me. It's very fast and stable on both sides. For the forehand, it's a great match with the powerful DHS Hurricane 3. I recently tried it with Nittaku G1 too, and it's great for countering — it's got enough behind it to support rolling counters even away from the table. For the backhand, it's perfect with Butterfly's Tenergy 64, giving great stability and very high speed!
