TSP Curl P2 is now back in our collection since many European top players favoured this unique long pimple rubber (about 1,8mm long) with wide pimples. It is ideal for those who not only want to defend but also want better block and counter possibilities.

    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
The racket is praised for its versatility in both offense and defense, while its lack of speed is noted as a limitation. It is positioned as an intermediate-level rubber for heterodox players, particularly favored by cut-main and blocking players due to its excellent spin variation and change characteristics.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Excellent control performance and ease of use
    • Superior cut and block with great spin variation
    • Less speed compared to other offensive rubbers
    • Well-suited for heterodox players in both offense and defense
    • Grain-like characteristics make it difficult for opponents to handle
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveIt can be used effectively for both attack and cut. The stable push attack and cutting return are well-balanced, making it the most versatile rubber in the Curl series.
▽ CriticalFrom high school level onwards, it becomes ineffective against opponents and difficult to receive their attacks, resulting in insufficient speed performance.

Right (Experience: 4〜5 years) Used for chopping

      Reviews by user

      I used this for chopping.
It makes receiving easy and adds some variation too.
When you chop with it, you still get a decent amount of spin.
Overall, my impression is that it's easy to use.
Hardly anyone around me uses this type of rubber,
and since it's part of the Curl series, a lot of people probably assume it's long pips,
so if you play using short-pips-style variation, it's a rubber you can win with pretty easily.

grain Short pips leaning towards long pips

      Reviews by user

By trade I'm an inverted-rubber-on-both-sides drive player. This was the first time I used a variation-type rubber. I've used long pips a few times before, but compared to the other rubbers in the Curl lineup, the pips here are clearly thicker. And they're arranged in vertical rows. What impressed me most was the stability and control on both offense and defense. It's easy to hit flat shots with and it gets speed. Despite that, blocks stay put firmly. That should put first-time variation-rubber users at ease. The sponge is rock hard, but the sheet itself is soft, so the feel of the ball actually came across as soft.
