Among long pips rubbers, this one is a bit fast and really stable. It gives variation on chops too, but the variation on punches is amazing. You get wobbly knuckle balls.
I'd recommend it to people who aren't choppers but want to use long pips, or to people using long pips for the first time.

My impression is that it's a bit harder to control than the P1.
Unless you push lightly, it's hard to return balls that come in long.
But other than that, I didn't think there was that much of a difference.

It's easy to add variation, and it lands on the table especially well when chopping.
I think it's especially good put on an all-wood blade.

      I used the OX version.
The good thing about these pips is that the push is very stable and the control is good. In exchange, if you don't block deliberately, the ball flies way off.
I don't use pips much myself, but these are stable pips, so I'd recommend them. Good for beginners to intermediate players.

Surarin (Experience: 11〜20 years) Aggressive long pips.

      Reviews by user

I'm using the OX version on my backhand.
For backspin balls, if you drive using your wrist with the ball a little away from your body, it lifts up nicely.
For a fake drive, if you brush from about the 7 o'clock position on the ball all the way up to about 12 o'clock in one motion, you can hit a knuckle drive.
Against a strong drive, if you close the racket angle just slightly from above, a chop block produces a nasty return.
On the backhand, I mix fake drives, backspin blocks, lifted shots, and pushes, and then smash any floating ball with my forehand.

Grain use (Experience: 2〜3 years) Blocking is....

      Reviews by user

I put on the OX version.
The control is good, but I can't hold back a powerful incoming drive. The push is good though.

      Block: Cuts pretty well.
Chop: Less spin than the P4 or P1.
Push: A little bit of cut.
      Punch block: Fast and stable.
Overall: Average spin, but stability is amazing. Recommended for beginners.
