      It's hard, plain and simple. Among hard rubbers, the spin is excellent and it's easy to hit flat, so I think it suits players who focus on fast-paced rallies, and counters come out really fast too. But the sponge is quite hard, so I think this is a rubber where compatibility really varies from person to person.

      This is my impression after test-hitting the XIOM Omega. The sponge on this rubber is hard, so it's probably not suited to sinking the ball in and driving through it. That said, there's no doubt the spin is amazing. It's also fast, so I think it's good for quick-attack style. It flies quite a bit, so it's also good for hitting from further back off the table.
