    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
Highly rated as a high-performance rubber for aggressive players, featuring speed comparable to Tenergy 64 and excellent spin performance. However, the hardness of the sponge and difficulty in control are noted as factors that limit it to skilled users.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Speed performance comparable to Tenergy 64
    • Soft topsheet makes spin easy to apply despite hard sponge
    • Requires technical skill to master effectively
    • Powerful drives suited for aggressive play
    • Heavy weight may be difficult for beginners
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveSpeed output matches Tenergy 64, and spin generation is comparable to Tenergy 05. The destructive power of drives and smashes is exceptional.
▽ CriticalThe hard sponge causes the ball to rebound immediately on lifted balls, resulting in frequent net errors. Requires strong hitting power and swing speed to use effectively.

Manabuto (Experience: 11〜20 years) Good value rubber

      Reviews by user

I bought this thinking I could use it as a substitute for Tenergy 05.
Speed and spin aren't that far off.
What did feel different was the control and the way the ball holds on the rubber. The unique feel of Butterfly's spring sponge, where the ball holds longer, really is something else.
Still, the value for money is quite good, so I think it's a solid rubber for attacking players who want something decent without spending too much.

It's really hard. In exchange, it's incredibly fast and puts a scary amount of spin on the ball.

      Rrrrrrrrrrrr8 Feels good

      Reviews by user

I'm using this on my backhand. The first thing I noticed when I tried it was how "heavy" it felt. I'd only ever used lighter rubbers on my backhand before, so it felt a bit awkward to swing at first, but once I got used to it, the power came through with no problem. The sponge is pretty hard, but the sheet is soft, so it's easy to sink the ball in and get spin on it. It's easy to control too — a rubber I'd recommend!

Table Tennis enthusiasts (Experience: More than 20 years) A great rubber in every way!

      Reviews by user

This is a great rubber all around. I think it's one of the strongest in the Omega line.
The speed is as good as Tenergy 64. The spin is about the same as Tenergy 05 too. Control takes as much concentration as the Tenergy series does. It doesn't quite match Tenergy 80 in speed, spin, control, or power, though...
Serves, stops, chiquitas, pushes — when they land, they're strong, but... it takes a lot of focus. Drives and smashes are easy to pull off. And the power is insane.

hibiki! ✴ (Experience: 11〜20 years) As expected from Omega!

      Reviews by user

This is the strongest one in the Omega series.
The speed is on par with Tenergy 64.
The spin is more than Tenergy 05. The first time I served with this rubber I thought, this is amazing! It really bites. Tenergy 05 gets more sidespin, but this one gets more backspin and side-backspin.
Control is tough at first, but once you get used to it, it's really easy to use.
Serves and pushes really bite hard. It's not great for lobbing since it tends to fly long, but the power on drives is insane. You might want to put it on your forehand and use something else for lobbing on the backhand!

      Kaolin Pretty hard

      Reviews by user

As expected, the Omega series is harder than the Vega series and leans toward advanced players. That said, it's still made to be really easy to use, so it works well for players of any level!

Yosuke Shi (Experience: 4〜5 years) Easy to put spin on

      Reviews by user

It's easy to put spin on the ball.
      It's fast too.
It's softer than tacky rubbers like Hurricane.
