DONG 7 (Experience: 6〜10 years)

First off, I can't recommend this to beginners. I'll explain from an intermediate-to-advanced player's perspective. It's a forehand-oriented rubber, and I don't think you can handle it on the backhand unless you're at an advanced level. Drives go in well, but its real strength is countering. I felt this is probably the easiest rubber in the Rasanter series to counter with. Fine short-game technique is difficult with it, so it suits a style built around receiving into a drive and using a lot of stops. I think it lasts longer than something like Tenergy.

Alexandra (Experience: 6〜10 years) Best pick in the Rasanter line

This is my top pick in the Rasanter lineup.
It's maybe closest to Tenergy 64.
It spins even more than the 64.For a V-series rubber it spins quite well, and smashing is easy too, so even players who aren't all-out drive types can use it.
Blocking in particular is easy, so I'd recommend it to anyone looking to counter. The price is also reasonable, around 4,600 yen.
Comparing it within the Rasanter series, R47 is harder and less manageable than V47, while V42 and R42 are too soft, so I feel like this one is the best balanced of the bunch. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Tomato (Experience: 4〜5 years) Fast!

This is way too fast! It easily reaches speeds like Butterfly's Bryce Speed! I tried it on my backhand, and when a backhand drive lands it's basically a point, that's how fast it is. Since it's a V-series I figured the spin wouldn't be great, but that's not true at all — I'd say it spins about as much as the R series! It's fast and spins well, so if you can't afford Tenergy, definitely give this a try. It might even be better than Tenergy!

The spin grips really well when you hit it with a thick contact, and the speed is insane (great for hard hitters).
Control was good too.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Poseidon (Experience: Less than a year) Easy to use!!!

It gives quite a lot of speed. It also has decent spin, so it was incredibly easy to use on my backhand! The only thing is, if you back too far off the table, you lose a bit of control.

TH (Experience: 6〜10 years) Good for the backhand side

Using the UM version (one side is R47 in UM thickness).
Aside from the short game, it feels easier to use than R47.
The feel is a bit softer with V47, and when my form broke down or I couldn't generate swing speed, I found it easier to get a good ball than with R47. The max spin is still a bit lower than R47 though, so when I connect well, R47 has more power.
I tried both forehand and backhand, and personally I liked the backhand side better. The backhand felt better than R47, so I'm going to try forehand R47 / backhand V47 for a while. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

For now I used it on my backhand.
Even though it's speed-focused, it still gets a decent amount of spin - about as much as the previous Rasant Grip. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
