I bought this for the ease of putting spin on the ball you get with a 5-ply, and because at 6mm it's on the thicker side for a 5-ply. It's less about bounce and more about how it holds the ball, giving it good distance, and the speed is a bit on the slower side, typical of a 5-ply — but since the outer plies use hard wood, it's an excellent blade characterized by a firm feel and quick ball release. The 6mm thickness really shows too, holding up well against the incoming ball, which made it easy to counter or fight back after reading the opponent's shot!
One thing that threw me off a bit: my piece weighed 79g, noticeably lighter than the manufacturer's stated 87g, plus STIGA's characteristically thick grip. Keep that in mind if you're thinking of buying one.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

On top of getting really good spin, it's also easy to control, so I'd recommend it to intermediate players who like wood blades!!
By the way, the Infinity VPS V (and STIGA blades in general) get a better feel the longer you use them, so I'd recommend sticking with it long-term!Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard

Mine weighs about 80g.
I've tried it with both tacky-tension and high-tension rubber, and it feels good either way.
Even with a heavy rubber on it, the blade itself is light so you don't fall behind on your swing timing. Wood blades also pair well with tacky rubber in general — you can produce nasty, hard-to-read shots — and with high-tension rubber like Tenergy, the good ball-holding feel sends out well-spun shots too. It's got decent bounce, and you could say it flies well for a wood blade.
For short-game techniques and blocking it stays under control nicely and is easy to control, but shots tend to land a bit shallow when you're pushed back from the table, and I guess it can't be helped that it doesn't fly as much as a 7-ply or special-material blade.
Still, it's easy to handle for players of any level — a really solid blade! I'd say it's probably one of the top picks among the lighter 5-ply blades.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

It's just light, plain and simple!
I used to use a Hurricane Hao B2, but it was heavy and the ball flew too far when chopping, so I decided to take a chance on this blade, which is known for flying well among 5-ply wood blades. My first impression was "wow, this is light," lol.
When chopping, the ball stays under control nicely, and the wood's typical flex puts a good amount of spin on it too. And on attacking shots, it bounces well and lets me hit drives with plenty of spin. The feel is outstanding too!
I'd recommend this to attacking players who want to lighten up their blade weight, and to choppers who want their chops to land under control while still packing some attacking power.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

Mine weighed 80g.
Even on light shots you feel it in your hand, and on drives and blocks you can really feel the sensation of gripping the ball.
For a 5-ply it snaps back well and feels somewhat hard, but since it doesn't fly much, it's tough when you get pushed back away from the table. On the other hand, that made the short game good.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness Little soft

Hard rubber followers (Experience: ４〜５ years) Swing light and it goes in

First off, it's light. With rubber on both sides it came to 187g, and it's easy to swing. That said, once I started hitting with it, I noticed that if you put in too much muscle, the ball either dives into the net or flies long. On floating balls you can generate incredible speed, but for hitting against backspin, a lighter swing gives you speed with stability. So I wouldn't recommend it to people who always hit with a lot of force, but if you're after a light, easy swing, this is a great fit.

This was too bouncy for me to use. My main setup is a Korbel with G1 on both sides, and compared to that, the speed on this one is overwhelmingly faster. Like others have said, the speed doesn't feel like a 5-ply blade at all — might even be faster than an Innerforce. When you hit it well, you really feel the vibration coming through too.
But with this much bounce, control gets pretty difficult. The Korbel barely bounces at all, so pretty much any rubber works on it, but I feel like this one is a lot more picky about rubber choice.
I don't think it pairs that well with tension rubber.
With tacky rubber, though, the spin from the rubber plus the bounce from the blade would probably be insane together. Tacky on the backhand could work well too.Overall Speed Spin Control Touch Hardness little hard
