This high-performance rubber is highly evaluated by powerful players. While it excels at combining speed and spin, it requires significant technique and power to master, positioning it as an option for intermediate to advanced players rather than beginners.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Excellent speed performance makes powerful shots easier
    • Generates abundant spin with proper striking technique
    • Players with strength can hit extremely difficult balls to return
    • Recommended for intermediate and advanced players
    • Bounces too much for touch shots near the net
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveAchieves both fast speed and high trajectory, realizing excellent spin and speed compatibility. When used by powerful players, it delivers exceptional power, with stable blocking and counter-attacks making it a superior rubber.
▽ CriticalDifficult to control, unsuitable for beginners. Touch shots like pushing and stopping bounce too much causing errors, while the rubber's short lifespan and high price are significant drawbacks.

Yama (Experience: 2〜3 years) Spin and speed, both flawless!

      Reviews by user

I put the Ultramax on my forehand, and it lands right near the end line without going over, so I'd really recommend it. It gets a good amount of spin too, and it's fast enough that there's not much difference from the V. The lifespan is on the short side, about 2-3 months, but if you're not sure what to get, you honestly can't go wrong with this one!

Used on a Jun Mizutani ZLC.
I think the blade has some effect too, but it flies quite a lot. The R version is supposed to be spin-focused, but personally I feel like the V gets more spin.
The ball also comes off the rubber fast, which makes it hard to control, so I had a lot of overshooting misses. Guess it was still a bit too much for me!
Shame, because the feel on contact was really good.

Ojo (Experience: 6〜10 years) My best result is the Kanto quarterfinals. Nice to meet you.

      Reviews by user

At first the control is tough, but once you get used to it, your drives and counters land really consistently. That said, I don't think it's very well-suited for the backhand.

Gudetama table tennis (Experience: 4〜5 years) Fast, but...

      Reviews by user

I'm a junior high student who played table tennis at a club for a bit back in elementary school. So I'll be reviewing this from the perspective of a junior high student, not a high schooler, adult man, or woman.

First of all, I think it's a bit heavy for a junior high student. That said, I don't think it's much of an issue for people who do strength training or shadow swings, or for adults - but honestly, junior high students who actually do shadow swings are pretty rare these days. (I do them myself, though.)
As for spin, you can definitely get a certain amount, but really cranking it up might be difficult. (Just my opinion.)
On top of that, the lifespan is short, so it's not great for junior high students who don't have much money to spare. So my personal take is that this rubber is hard to handle, but if you can handle it, it's a really excellent rubber.
As a fellow junior high student, I wouldn't really recommend it to other junior high students, but if you're confident in your strength or feel like you can handle this rubber, then I'd highly recommend it.
By the way, at 47 degrees it's on the harder side for a rubber, but when I actually touched it, it didn't feel all that hard.

That's all - sorry for the long review.

To tame (Experience: 6〜10 years) High-flying rubber

      Reviews by user

Anyone can feel how well it bounces, but getting good spin on it takes some skill.
The lifespan feels shorter compared to other brands' rubbers in the same price range.
A perfect rubber for topspin rallies from further back off the table.

      Mashubo mushrooms Amazing arc

      Reviews by user

My impression after hitting with it - the arc is amazing. Even a loop drive goes really high. I also went with the thickest sponge, so the power is high, and speed drives came out really fast. It grips the ball well, so I get plenty of spin, and it felt heavy - against an opponent using pips, they couldn't block it at first and it just kept flying off them. That said, it bounces quite a lot, so I think the short game especially would be tough unless you already have some skill.
When I hit a drive, the ball really carries through - it's honestly amazing. I love it, lol.

All right. (Experience: 2〜3 years) God of arc

      Reviews by user

First off, the arc on this thing is amazing. I mean, even my smashes have an arc to them. (Not that extreme, though.)
On top of that, the spin is incredible - I've been using it for 3 months and it's still going strong.
Out of all the rubbers I've used, this is the one I'd recommend the most.
