Highly rated as a versatile rubber for beginners to intermediate players, with excellent control and affordable pricing being major strengths. However, advanced players often find it lacking in speed and spin potential.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Exceptional control performance with excellent ball grip feel
    • Reliable for short-range techniques: serve, flick, and push
    • Ideal for beginners and as a 2nd rubber; perfect for learning backhand drive
    • Excellent value for money with outstanding price-performance ratio
    • Moderate speed and spin potential; not suitable for advanced players
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveFew quirks, handles any technique well. Moderate bounce with a satisfying grip-in feel that builds proper technique sense. Perfect match for players wanting to level up their fundamental skills.
▽ CriticalSpeed and spin feel somewhat underwhelming, with direct trajectories when hitting powerfully, similar to short pimple rubber. Lacks the aggressive power sought by advanced players.

a Nittaku's budget version of Rozena

      Reviews by user

It feels similar to Rozena, though the performance is a step down, but it's cheaper too. I'd recommend it for beginners on the forehand.

It's an all-around rubber that's easy to control and handles every technique without any weak points.
      I'd recommend it as a 2nd rubber.
It works well whether you're the type who generates your own spin, or the type who plays a blocking, defensive style, and it's perfect for getting a feel for putting spin on the ball.
If you've just started out, why not give it a try?

I'm an addict (Experience: Less than a year) Honestly, it's a game of luck

      Reviews by user

The shop staff recommended this to me and I'm using it as my 2nd rubber on my backhand. I'm in my first year of middle school. This rubber is more than good enough for the short game like pushes, and the spin is great. But honestly, whether it bounces or not feels like a coin toss, which turns it into a bit of a gamble. Might just be my lack of skill though...
Personally, when I step back from the table, shots don't really go in, so my honest wish is that it bounced a little more. I'd recommend it as a 2nd rubber for beginners like me.

sticky gorilla (Experience: 6〜10 years) Good enough to get you to the city tournament

      Reviews by user

It's on the soft side. It bounces more and generates more speed than rubbers commonly used as a 2nd rubber (the Raigan series, GTT, Vega Europe, etc). The trajectory is a bit flatter, so meeting the ball close to the table is easy. Honestly, for this price, this level of performance is unbeatable value for money. It's a rubber you can use up to city-level tournaments. Because it's soft, energy loss is inevitably an issue, which might make it tough going once you get to the advanced level.

Great Buddha (Experience: 2〜3 years) Not much spin, huh…

      Reviews by user

Speed is decent — more than the Raigan Spin I have on my forehand, so 8/10.
Spin is honestly not that great... it feels more like a balance of speed and control, so 7/10.
      Control was pretty easy, so
      9/10. I guess this really is a 2nd rubber after all~

Table tennis - GTR (Experience: 2〜3 years) Perfect for your first tension rubber!

      Reviews by user

I borrowed a friend's and gave it a test hit.
The control is so good it almost feels like a high-tension rubber, and it's especially easy to use for the short game.
I think stops and flicks are easy too.
As for spin, it grips the ball well and lets you fire off powerful topspin drives.
      The speed is decent.
      I think it'd make a good 2nd or 3rd rubber.
Of course intermediate players and above can use it consistently too, and it's relatively cheap to replace, so why not give it a try?

centipede Best suited up to intermediate level

      Reviews by user

It's a rubber with no particular quirks and is easy to use. The rubber itself is light, so I'd recommend it for beginners. I think it works fine for intermediate players too, without any real issues. If you're a beginner to intermediate player, I think it's fine to put it on either the forehand or backhand.
