This is a plastic-ball-compatible short pips rubber.
Since it's described as an energy-concentrated type, it's in the same category as Hammond FA.
In short, it's like a spin-oriented version of Hammond!
The sheet has vertical grooves, the pips are low, and they're right at the edge of the regulation size!
I put it on the backhand of my Violin,
and my first impression from actually hitting with it was that it felt less like short pips and more like a control-oriented rubber — it has great handling!
Half-volleys had a bit of spin on them and didn't have that nasty short-pips feel, but when I pushed, it turned into a solid knuckle ball, and there were times my opponent's drive caught the net.
Blocks also come out as knuckle balls!
Pushes don't bite when played deep, but if you play more of a stop, they do bite!
It's also easy to chiquita with short pips, and backhand drives grip the ball well too!
That said, it doesn't produce much speed, so it can feel a bit lacking!
That said, even players switching over from inverted rubber can use it without any discomfort, and it's a rubber you can swing with on both wings!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

I use the thick version.
It can be used almost the same way as inverted rubber, but since the ball leaves it quickly, I think it's well suited to close-to-the-table fast attack with penhold short pips.
Spin-based techniques work properly too, so it's stable. Serves with real spin on them are really easy to produce.
The rubber's bounce is on the weak side, so I think pairing it with a harder blade would balance things out.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

All-around performance is high and it's easy to handle.
If I had to name a weakness, it would be the knuckle balls and how quickly the ball leaves the rubber, but that's well within the range you can make up for with blade choice and technique.

Spins about as much as a high-elasticity inverted rubber.
On the plus side, it's easy to handle and perfect for beginners trying short pips.
On the downside, it's a bit middle-of-the-road and lacks the nasty pips characteristics.

Compared to other short pips rubbers, it grips the ball well for spin and it's easy to loop with too.

Compared to the Morristo SP, this one has noticeably more bounce. Spin is also easier to generate with this one. That said, defense and countering were easier with the Morristo SP.
