I used this over 30 years ago. Back then the sheet was chocolate-colored!
I think both the sheet and the sponge have evolved since.
It's a high-bound rubber, not a tension one, so naturally it falls a bit short of today's rubbers, but among the rubbers I've bought recently, I really like it.
What's great about it is that thanks to more spin than I expected, my topspin drives land solidly, one after another. Control is good. I can hit with confidence!! It's not affected much by the opponent's spin either, so I make fewer receive mistakes.
So I'd recommend this to players who tend to make a lot of mistakes in matches by attacking too aggressively and self-destructing!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
