      I'm a chopper.
      I've never gotten along with tension rubbers, so I had Mark V thin on my forehand, but when I tried to step up to Mark V HPS, it was only available from medium thickness up, and since I like thin rubber, I'd been looking for something similar in type.

      The Hikari SR7 comes in a lot of sponge types and is available in thin or even extra-thin, so that was a huge relief.
      I put the 25-hardness PZC-SP on the forehand side of my chopping blade.

      As for my impressions after using it - true to a high-elasticity rubber, it has that feeling of propelling the ball yourself, and I was satisfied with both the stability of my chops and the amount of spin. The spin in particular is well above the Mark V.
      As for counter-drives and smashes, I'd say it's on par with the Mark V or even better.
      For both chops and drives, I think this rubber shows its true character more when you make solid contact rather than brushing thinly.

      I especially like how, when you catch the sweet spot with the thin version, you can feel that crisp "crack" of the wood coming through the racket.

      If you're a Mark V fan, why not give this one a try too?

      I used this when I wasn't very good with my backhand side. Speed and spin are both mediocre, but it's not affected much by the opponent's spin, it's light, and control is good. It might be similar to the Mark V.
      That said, the value for money isn't great. On the other hand, the quality is good, and durability might be good too.
