I'm a chopper. This was my first time using STIGA long pips, and I found the push shot easy to do.
The long-pips smash also lands quite reliably.
As for the main event, chopping — I'd been using the extra-thin Feint Long 3, so I didn't get used to the OX version right away, but I found it noticeably easier to keep down.
That said, on normal chops it didn't generate much spin and the ball didn't really cut.
When I chopped a hard hit, though, it landed on the table with a lot of cut a good portion of the time.
It might be better suited to keeping down heavy hits.
This time I used it on a Defensive Pro blade, and personally I felt the hardness of the Defensive Pro matched it really well.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft
