I LOVE STIGA (Experience: ４〜５ years) A bit tricky?

Since it's a STIGA German-made tension rubber, I put it on a Clipper Wood and tried hitting with it.
Being 50 degrees, it feels a bit hard.
It gets spin, but if anything, my impression is that the arc is on the low side.
Including the short game, it's a bit hard to control, so it's a rubber that takes time to get used to.
It has bounce and speed on hard hits, so you can attack even from mid-distance.
I think it's a somewhat difficult rubber that intermediate players and above can handle better than beginners.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

It got more spin and had more speed than I expected. But one thing I noticed was that the control is a bit difficult. For this much spin and speed, 5800 yen is pretty cheap. I think it's suited for people who attack with heavy-spin drives, or aggressive choppers looking for spin.

Just like the headline says, you feel the softness.
The bounce is intense until you get used to it, but once you're used to it, it doesn't have the speed to blow through the opponent's block.
There's plenty of spin.
Compared to the Omega 5 Pro I was using before this, the balls come out heavier.
That said, there are sudden moments where you feel that 50 hardness, so you might drop the ball at an important point.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Lost in equipment choices (Experience: １１〜２０ years) Feels hard but not hard to use

Used on the forehand. The sponge is rated 50 hardness, but the topsheet is soft, so I didn't find it hard to use. The arc comes out fairly high.
My impression is that it flies pleasantly even from light hits. Taking it thin makes it a bit unstable. Go with thick.
Drives are also stable starting from light continuous hitting, making you forget about the hardness.
Speed drives left a good impression too. On the other hand, the amount of spin is more like just-enough-and-no-more — I couldn't produce overshoots that matched how solid the feel was.
Against backspin it's the same. Easy to land the ball, but you don't get that "insanely spinny loop."Blocking is a little tricky to place, but it's manageable once you get used to it. Being hard, it's tough when you get jammed.
Topspin rallies let you hit comfortably without losing to the opponent's ball. But because of the sponge's hardness, when you get jammed, the ball just won't fly no matter what. This is where you need arm strength.
For the short game and serves, it's easy to create sharp contrast and easy to use.
Rather than spin, this rubber's appeal is speed and rally stability. I felt like it makes good use of the sponge's hardness to stay easy to use.

Piiman's acquaintance (Experience: １１〜２０ years) Good fit for those who like German-made rubbers

Mainly used on the backhand. The sponge is rated 50 hardness, but it's not as hard as I expected. It's a matte-topsheet German rubber similar to the Evolution series. Loop drives for connecting shots go in without issue too. The short game can be handled without any trouble, so I didn't find any fatal drawbacks.

For the same price as the C1, this level of performance is amazing. The topsheet has great grip and it gets a ton of spin. For the "hard" version, it might actually be on the softer side.

Ponds (Experience: １１〜２０ years) For Fastarc G1 fans

There was a DNA test event and I got to try it. The 50 hardness rating gave me a hard impression, but when I actually hit with it, maybe because the topsheet is soft, it felt much softer than expected and was really easy to hit with. For a German-made rubber, it didn't feel heavy either, and partway through hitting I kept thinking it reminded me of a rubber I'd used before — turned out the feel of the shot was just like Fastarc G1. The sponge design is probably very similar, and since the DNA topsheet has better grip and lets the ball sink in more, I think it gives good distance even from away from the table. For Fastarc G1 fans who want an even higher arc and more distance, I think the switch would feel natural. It's also slightly cheaper than Fastarc G1, so if you want more power, definitely give it a try ♪
