Cross-sectional 捨離 (Experience: 2〜3 years) Easy to block

      Reviews by user

It's easy to block with, stops the ball well, and the variation is fairly strong too. The short game with pips is easy to execute, so it's easy to steer the point the way you want.

Soft Nyanko (Experience: 2〜3 years) Pretty easy to play with

      Reviews by user

Because the control is so high, you can move your opponent around and easily pull the game into your own pace.
But it took quite a while before I got used to using it...

      Kaolin Range of variation

      Reviews by user

This is a rubber with a pretty wide range of variation, but it has a broad range of shots you can produce on your own, so if you can master it, it becomes a powerful weapon! It's a bit hard to use for choppers, but I think it's a very easy-to-use rubber for penhold long-pips players who block close to the table, or shakehand players with long pips on the backhand!

Yutchi @ cut The pinnacle of single-ply rubbers?

      Reviews by user

I bought this rubber on a whim after buying the Orthodox Deluxe for fun lol. I usually stick with sponge-backed long pips since they're easier to use, so I don't normally go for OX, but after trying this one out I thought it was better than expected. If they made a max-thin version of this, I might actually use it. It feels like they took the bounce of something like Grass or Desperado and toned the variation down a notch - there's basically zero speed, but for an OX rubber it's pretty easy to use. Recommended if you're trying long pips for the first time!

Castella radio (Experience: 2〜3 years) Variation and pushes

      Reviews by user

This is a control-type long pips OX rubber (^^)/
It comes down to whether you can make good use of the variation and pushes (^^;)
Beginners will need a bit of practice.
I can't recommend switching to this rubber from something like Glass or Desperado.
But once you get used to it, you start to see its strengths.
I'm using it right now (^_^)ゞ
