Borrowed this from Mr. Mac Fan and gave it a try.
I usually attack from mid-distance and rely on my drive to make things work, so personally the backhand was the easiest to use.
On the forehand it feels a bit lacking somehow. I really like the Vega series so I figured this one would be my type too, but...
I ended up feeling like Japan is better (;´Д`)
That said, pushes cut well and stops hold the ball firmly, so as far as the short game goes, it's pretty much perfect.
From an intermediate player's point of view I'd put it on the backhand; from a beginner's point of view it's fine on either side.

This is a comparison with Vega Tour.
X is faster, and the power on flat hits and speed drives is considerable.
As for spin, Tour grabs slightly more. X gives a low, straight trajectory. That said, the spin on serves and loop drives is still on par with other companies' top rubbers, so it's fine.
I can't really say much about control, but I found X easier to get the ball in. It's fast off the sponge, so even a weaker hit goes in. So I think it's good for players who want flat hits and speed, or who want to switch between spin and flat hitting. The downside is it wears out fast — after about a month of use, the pips start to lift.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Here's my impression using it on the forehand!
My first impression on long balls was that it really shocks your hand, has solid grip, and my opponents kept saying they could hear the ball growl.
Against backspin drives, the grip meant chopping return shots were very stable too. With plenty of spin, straight shots landed solidly as well. As for stroke technique, I found I got better shots by really sinking the ball in rather than just brushing it lightly.
Counters are stable thanks to the strong sheet, but I felt a bit uneasy when the opponent's loop had a lot of spin, so I think this suits players who can swing through properly.
Over the table it bounces a little too much, so flicks and chiquitas are easy, but stops aren't as easy.
In topspin rallies it holds the ball well, which made it easy to use.

This felt like an all-around rubber that handles drives, the short game, counters, rallies, and more with consistency. Everyone should definitely give it a try!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Compared to Vega Pro, the spin feels a bit weaker. That said, I think X has better handling and control. Pro feels like more of a forehand rubber to me, but this one seems stable enough on the backhand too, so using X on both sides could work well.
Just like Pro, the sheet has strong grip, so lifting backspin is easy.
Personally I think this is Vega Pro made a bit easier to use, and it'll appeal to just about everyone. A good rubber.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

Used max thickness on the forehand of a Hadraw VK.
When I test-hit it, my impression was more of a flat trajectory than a proper arc - if you want a nice, clear arc, Tour gives a better impression.
It's labeled semi-soft, but personally I thought it felt a bit on the firmer side; Tour feels softer. Serves, drives, stops, and the short game all felt fine, with nothing particularly hard to do. As I said at the start, this rubber flies flatter rather than arcing, so I'd recommend it for players who attack more with power than spin. My impression after hitting with it is that it's good. It gets proper spin, has good speed, and is easy to control - no complaints. That said, the arc is a bit flatter, and my impression is that you need decent fundamentals and to really commit to your swing to get a good ball out of it. I'd recommend it for people who want to compete on power rather than spin. Personally, I think it beats Tour in terms of spin and speed, but Tour is easier to actually generate spin with. So it's good for people who already have solid fundamentals. For the price, it delivers a lot of power, so I recommend it!

- Every other Vega rubber has its own clear concept, but Vega X doesn't really have one.
That's roughly it. There's a lot here that only advanced players can really handle. The Vega series has ones like Asia, Europe, Pro, Intro, Tour, and so on, but Vega X doesn't have that defining identity, so I don't think people unfamiliar with it would know what to expect.
