For 4,000 yen, this is a rubber where you can really feel how serious it is. You should just buy it.

The amount of spin is insane, the speed is insane, and the control is really easy too. This being cheap yet this good quality is basically godly.

First off, unlike the other Vega rubbers, the sheet is on the harder side, so it generates more power. That said, it's not so hard that it can't work fine on the forehand too, but personally I found it gives a better arc and more stability on the backhand, so I'd recommend it for the backhand of anyone looking for both stability and power.

This rubber has this mysterious quality where, after about 5 hours of use, it suddenly starts gripping the ball more lol. Might be something about my own stroke, but flat hitting feels really easy with it. The spin is more than enough too, so I'd say it could be the king of its price range, right?

(Vega X, MAX thickness.) There's Dynamic Friction to boost grip, and Cycloid to thin out the topsheet so the ball sinks in more easily. Maybe because of that, the feel on contact is pretty unique — it really feels like the ball gets "bitten" into the rubber. That said, even though the topsheet lets the ball sink in, the 47.5° sponge underneath doesn't give in so easily (or maybe that's just because I don't hit hard enough). On my backhand I have Vega Europe (1.8) instead, and honestly that one's easier to use — good old reliable Europe. Realistically, Vega X feels like it's built exclusively for die-hard Vega users who started out with Vega Intro. If you've used Vega Pro before, you'll adjust to it quickly. As for the good points... the packaging looks cool. Just kidding — really, the spin is a bit higher than other rubbers in the same price range. Well, I'm not a die-hard Vega user myself, so there are probably more good points than I can list. Sorry about that.

First off, it's cheap! Honestly, this is performance you wouldn't expect around the 3,000 yen mark. It doesn't fly too much and the control is outstanding. Personally, pairing it with a harder inner-ply blade and swinging straight through gets you plenty of both speed and spin. This is just my opinion, but when I used it, I found it much easier to handle than Ventus Extra or Rakza 7, and I could still generate good power. Rubbers like G1 aren't even in the same league. (Just my personal opinion.)
That said, there are two big downsides. First, it's heavy! At max thickness it easily goes over 50g. I really like it on both forehand and backhand, but using it on both sides means I don't have the arm strength to keep up, and I ended up mistiming shots and hitting off the edge a ton — which was actually pretty fun. Second, it's a bit slippery. The pips start looking worn after about 1-2 months. (By 3 months it starts getting tough. Though I guess that's about normal for most rubbers, especially in this price range.)
Anyway, all that aside, it's really good. It feels like an easier-to-use version of Bluestorm Z1 Turbo. For intermediate players, I have to call this a godly rubber for the price. Even advanced players who prioritize control would probably like it. I've written a lot, but basically: just buy it.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft
