      These are my impressions from test-hitting with short pips on penhold.
      I think it's better used on the forehand than the backhand.
      Even forehand hitting didn't rally for long - my smashes were fast and came out as knuckle balls so they rarely got returned, but I found it very hard to control. Angle shots and flicks were very easy to do. The problem is finding a practice partner - if you play against a person it doesn't turn into a rally, so I thought it'd be better to practice against a robot or with multi-ball training. I like this rubber, so I'm planning to keep using it going forward.

      I tried it a few times. First off, this rubber is extremely hard to handle. I have it on the backhand side of my shakehand blade, and just making contact automatically turns the ball into a knuckle ball, which annoys opponents. Both blocking and attacking are hard if you're not used to it, since the ball goes wild. Like the Dawei 388C-1, the trajectory is straight, and if you swing through it, it shows the EVO's characteristic speed. Opponents who don't really understand it drop the ball again and again. I think if you keep using it, it becomes quite a weapon. It's not that it doesn't spin at all - if you've used variation-type short pips before, you can put spin on it.
