Super Anti has an exceptionally low friction topsheet designed to produce a no-spin ball.
Effective when used as part of a combination racket with rubbers of an offensive nature on the other side of the racket.

Chopping on the backhand side is genuinely easy with this. You barely need to think about the spin on your opponent's ball. Just adjust your touch to match the ball's speed and it lands on the table on its own. You can't generate your own spin, but if you chop down sharply on a heavily spinning drive it comes out completely dead, so mixing that in with simply blocking it back gives you a bit of variation.
If you rely purely on how rare anti-spin rubbers are, it should be good enough up to district-level tournaments through junior high. By the way, I use red on both sides and flip it around while practicing with my kids. It's an easy way to enjoy fooling them with changes in spin amount. This was my first anti-spin rubber, and I used the red thin version.
Its feature is that it lets you return the ball like you hit it straight off bare wood.
There's really no particular downside, but the ball itself has no distinctive character — while it flies straight and pierces toward the opponent, it lacks things like coming in especially low or landing short.
Anti-spin rubbers also tend to last a long time, so I think even a pricier non-tacky option would be worth it.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

The sponge is way too soft and has basically no bounce, so it just doesn't work for someone like me who attacks with anti-spin.
The feel is mushy — even if you swing the racket hard, the power just gets absorbed by the squishy sponge and you can't generate any speed at all.
I tried both the max thickness and thin versions, but because the sponge effect works against you, the thicker one actually bounces less. The feel is like hitting with soft clay.
Not only can you not do a reversed forehand-side anti-spin attack, even a backhand push comes out so weak it barely deserves to be called a push.
I felt this is strictly a defensive rubber. If you want to attack with anti-spin, I'd recommend a different one.
Among domestic anti-spin rubbers it's on the low-friction side, but it doesn't have the reversal effect of the slicker imported anti-spin sheets, so it can't really induce misses through variation — about the best it does is turn all of the opponent's spin into a knuckleball.
That said, thanks to that squishy sponge effect, you basically never get pushed into an overshoot miss by the opponent's hard hits or strong drives, so maybe that's the one upside.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

It has basically zero of that trendy Transformer-style spin-reversal ability.

I've used several different anti-spin rubbers over the years, but I always end up coming back to this one.
There are plenty of products out there with dream-like marketing claims about their special features, and sure, that changes how you approach the ball too.
But being able to actually pull off a swing that takes advantage of those features in a split-second return situation just isn't realistic for me.
So Super Anti, which reacts the same way every single time no matter the situation, ends up being my best choice.
- You can't put your own spin into a push with this. Using pushes with varied meet strength and slide, I aim for returns with different depth, pace, and knuckle effects on the opponent's side of the table, but once you get used to it, the control is outstanding.
- It's not that you can't attack with it, but it's entirely angle-hitting. You can brush it thin with an angled hit to make it look like a drive, and the moment it touches the opponent's racket, the ball just drops straight down.
- Chopping is extremely stable with this. You don't even need to think about it. You can also vary the cut just by adjusting swing speed and the angle you swing down at.

I'm a topspin driver by style. So why did I choose an anti-spin rubber? Because I'm the type who hangs in with lobs and then fights back. Since it's anti-spin, the lobs won't go in unless I swing all the way through, but I chose it because it's hard to be affected by the opponent's spin. It's also great for blocking, and effective for pulling off a well-rounded set of techniques. I have anti on my backhand and Mark V HPS on my forehand, and I seriously recommend this combo!

When I first bought Super Anti, controlling it was really tough, but depending on how you use it, you can confuse your opponent on both offense and defense. Thanks to Super Anti, I was even able to beat a player who was pretty strong in my area.
