I have this on the back side of my penhold blade. It's good for receiving since the ball comes back easily. But since it's pips, it doesn't generate much speed, and if I hit it hard the ball flies off in a weird direction. I feel like short pips would have suited me better.

Here are my impressions both from using it myself and from receiving it against an opponent.
Using it myself, I felt a moderate hardness in the pips. It was easy to handle and I really felt like I was in control of the ball. Whether hitting or blocking, you can feel a bit of the sheet's hardness.
Next, my impressions from receiving shots when my opponent used it.
First, a simple block came back as a knuckleball just from making contact.
I also noticed it loses a lot of speed after bouncing on the table.
If you cut into the ball yourself, it seems like you can keep a good amount of the opponent's spin even on a chop-block.
The bounce off the sheet seems decent while the overall speed stays modest, so rather than a rubber for winning with sharp chop-blocks, it feels better suited to a player who freely mixes up a variety of techniques.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

This is definitely one of the most standard OX rubbers out there! It has no quirks, so it's perfect for learning basic techniques or for players switching over to long pips. I'm not usually a fan of OX rubbers, but this one was easy to use!

When it comes to entry-level long pips rubbers, I think this is the one. I have a junior teammate who's a chopper like me, and when he switched from short pips to long pips, this is the rubber he used. He liked it a lot, saying it was very easy to use, and I also found it to be a pretty easy long pips rubber to handle! If you're a beginner chopper switching to long pips, definitely give this a try!

The pips have a good feel of folding over, and there's quite a bit of variation on the ball.
