TACKIFIRE-C is the latest development from Butterfly. It has already claimed it's first Gold medal at the 2004 Olympics and it's first World Championship at the 2005 World Championships with Zhang Yining. The most notable trait is it's tacky surface, which makes you think of a Chinese rubber. By this the strength of the rubber lies in a controlled service, return play with loads of spin, and in the block-play. Another winner from Butterfly.

This is a rubber I actually use myself and love on my forehand.
First, I found topspin drives easy to hit. Loop drives in particular felt great. It stays stable even if you drop your contact point. Also, for a tacky rubber it's on the softer side, so it's easy to handle. Serves and the short game are both easy to do, so I'd call it an all-around rubber. That said, because of the low arc typical of tacky rubbers, it's hard to get distance if you move too far back from the table. But since it's a bit soft, even if you back up somewhat it still arcs nicely and lands in your opponent's court. It gives you a sense of security, so you can put spin on the ball with confidence. I'd recommend it to spin-type loop drivers.All Speed Spin Control

It is a rubber with poor bounce, admittedly. But serves and the short game are easy to put spin on, and the loop quality is high.
Also, hitting flat with a meeting-style stroke is really easy to do (lol)A junior teammate of mine, who loved smashing with terrifying force the moment anything floated up in the short game, was a big fan of this rubber.
Overall it's on the firmer side, so when you hit it flat, the ball really jumps off.As a chopping rubber it's very easy to handle.
You can chop even close to the table, and when you chop hard and sharp the ball doesn't carry too far, so it's reassuring.
That said, attacking from mid-distance is basically out of the question, lol.

HURRICANE Easy to handle

It was a tacky rubber that's softer and easier to handle than the Chinese-made ones.
It has less spin than the Chinese ones, but you can get spin on the ball even with weak impact, so I think it's usable as long as you have a reasonable amount of power.
The instructions say to use a cleaner, but if you do, the tackiness drops off right away, so it's better to just breathe on it a bit instead.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

Yutchi @ cut For choppers rather than loopers

Placement-focused drives and sharply-cut chops are super easy to do, but it struggles with drives meant to blow the point in one shot, so I'd say it suits choppers. If all you do is chop, opponents start taking you lightly, but with this rubber your drives won't miss and they carry plenty of spin too, so your opponent is guaranteed to get nervous! Good for beginner and intermediate choppers!

The ball-holding feel is good, but it's only slightly tacky — enough that cleaning it removes the tackiness completely.
If you asked me whether it's closer to a high-bounce rubber or a tacky tension rubber, I'd say high-bounce rubber.All Speed Spin Control

Used on the forehand of a Butterfly Cliptate.
The sponge is slightly harder than Triple Speed and softer than Hurricane Pro 2. It's labeled as a highly tacky rubber, but in practice it isn't that tacky.
That said, both the topsheet and sponge grip the ball well, so if you use it without thinking of it as a tacky rubber, it becomes a fairly stable rubber. But it doesn't work if you treat it as a high-bounce rubber either, so I'd call it a bit of an in-between rubber.All Speed Spin Control
