It's also softer, at 25 degrees hardness.
That's the difference from the L2/L3, and the price difference as well.

For intermediate to advanced players, the bounce is nowhere near enough and the rubber crushes on impact, so the ball doesn't travel far.
This is strictly a rubber for beginners to get a feel for the game.

The spin really grips well, so it's recommended for a chopper's backhand side - you can produce really sharp, ripping chops.

For the reasons above, I can't really recommend it to players with hardball experience, but it's worth considering for beginners who are starting out with large ball.

That said, it's useful for rebuilding your form when you're in a slump. It really makes you feel that the large ball won't fly unless you use your whole body, which helps correct arm-only, handsy strokes!
