Unlike L2 and L3, this rubber isn't tension rubber, so it doesn't bounce much. The sponge is a reddish-orange color.
It's also softer and has a hardness of 25.
These are the main differences and price differences compared to L2 and L3.
For intermediate and advanced players, the bounce is completely insufficient, and the rubber compresses, resulting in poor ball distance.
This rubber is primarily for beginners to get a feel for the game.
It generates a lot of spin, making it recommended for the backhand of defensive players. You can produce incredibly sharp cuts.
For the reasons above, it's not highly recommended for experienced players with hardball experience. It's only worth considering for beginners starting with large balls.
However, it can be useful for solidifying your form when you're in a slump. You'll realize that you need to use your whole body to hit large balls far, and it helps correct and refine arm-only shots!
