Switched over from FX-S. This one feels softer. You can hit as if wrapping the ball, so it pairs well with a 7-ply blade. It's soft, but it's excellent in that you can still put solid spin on everything from serves to loop drives.

★ Short game... Cuts just as well as the rest of the Evolution series. It's soft and easy to control.
★ Block... The opponent's drive sinks in, so you feel the effect of their spin, but once you get used to it, counters become easier.
★ Counter... Rather than generating your own power on the counter, it's easier to use a stroke that rides and extends the opponent's drive spin.
★ Drive... Easy to lift against backspin. Rather than brushing the surface, if you really sink the ball in, you get a satisfying shot.
★ Mid-distance drive... If you really sink the ball in, you get a satisfying shot that comes in with a high-pitched sound.
★ Overall review... The amount of spin is flawless. It suits a whippy, flex-and-sink style of hitting more than a hard-hitter's style. I paired it with an arylate carbon blade, and since the rubber's bounce is on the restrained side, the compatibility with the arylate carbon really stood out. I'd been using Tenergy 05 and Glayzer 09C on my backhand up until now, but I feel this is easier to handle than those harder to mid-hardness rubbers, and lets the rubber's performance really come through. In terms of feel, the hardness is somewhere between Tenergy 05 and 05 FX.
I also tried the EL-D for spin, and there wasn't much difference.
Power leans toward the EL-D, stability leans toward the FX-D, roughly speaking.
Well, both have good stability and produce good power, so I think it comes down to personal feel. Either way, both are good rubbers and I can recommend either one.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

This is a change of direction from FX-P. I feel like the sheet has gotten a lot harder. The grip is great, and the sponge is soft, so the ball sinking in is flawless too.
