      I use the max-thickness version on my forehand. It's soft, so the ball sinks in well and spin is easy to generate, landing on the opponent's side with a nice high arc just like the regular MK. Because it's soft, I'd recommend the backhand for intermediate players and above, but it still delivers plenty of power on the forehand even in tense match situations. It's a versatile rubber that handles serves, pushes, meet-hits, and every other technique without any trouble. Even at max thickness it's pretty lightweight, so anyone concerned about weight should definitely give it a try.

      Thickness 2.0, 42.5g (including glue).
      I use it on my backhand.

      Maybe because the sheet is taut,
      it's not as soft as the name "FX" might suggest.

      Rather than ball flight or spin amount, what I really liked was how easy it is to hit with a flat striking stroke.
      I don't have the skill to bring out its full ball power myself, but it does produce plenty of speed.
      Also, the way the MK-style sheet launches the ball upward makes chiquitas and super-slow loops really easy.
      Since it's not overly soft, on the backhand it doesn't dip strangely or get overpowered much either.

      If you're someone who can really grip the ball, I think you'll get a nice arc, but if you can't grip it, it feels like the ball launches off the sheet before you can put spin on it.
      I wouldn't call this a beginner's rubber — despite being soft, I felt it's actually a very high-performance rubber.

      Attached Max to the back of a Harimoto Inner ALC, 47.4g
      As always, the MK series is easy to counter-hit with.
      It's fair to think of this as a softer Hybrid MK, but it doesn't produce much speed, so if you use it I think it belongs on the backhand.
      For comparison, I put a max-thickness Tenergy 05 FX on the other side as a similar type of rubber.

      Compared to your average soft rubber, this has way more grip and I found it easy to put spin on the ball. It's especially easy to use on the backhand, and blocks don't get pushed back, so if you're not sure what to pick, this feels like a safe choice.

      Using 2.0mm sponge, on a regular-size blade at about 44g. One thing this shares with the Hybrid MK is that it feels softer than its stated hardness — this Hybrid MK FX feels more like a 40-degree rubber than the rated 44 degrees. On the other hand, one thing that's different is how much it bounces. The Hybrid MK is a rubber that clearly bounces less than other rubbers of the same hardness when you hit it flat, and that's exactly what made the MK so easy to block and defend with. With the FX version, though, the bounce off a flat hit is very strong. The push (tsutsuki) also has an unusual, hard-to-read ball-grip that's not like recent ESN rubbers. Both spin and speed are high in terms of raw performance, and I think it's a great rubber for aggressive, attacking techniques, but it's lost the trait that made the Hybrid MK so good on defense. I peeled it off after just two hours of use and went back to the Hybrid MK.

      I put this on both sides of an inner-carbon blade, and it bounces more than I expected. Compared to MK Pro, it feels lighter, and you do feel a bit overpowered by strong shots, but it's stable in the short game and easy to put spin on.
