The offensive blade with the highest feel among the TIBHAR SUPER STRONG SERIES. This 9-ply offensive blade has power in any situation, but also an excellent ball-feedback thanks to its perfectly matched veneer combination. Thanks to the use of the high-end fabric made from a combination of carbon and Dyneema® fibres, ‚the world’s strongest fiber™’, the sweet spot is increased, vibrations are reduced to the minimum and the necessary stability and dynamic are kept. The fabric was placed close to the core, so that this FORTINO variant is perfectly suited to modern table tennis sports, enhancing speed, catapult reserves and the necessary control.
With pride we can say there is no other wood with this Setup currently on the market. A real innovation, a fibre-reinforced attack wood of the latest generation, consisting of 9 layers and still relatively light and with great touch – TIBHAR FORTINO suits the offensive game and puts the emphasis on punchy but controlled attacking games!

TIBHAR FORTINO – some blades simply need to be tested!

    Customer Reviews SummaryAI Summary
Despite being a 7-ply wood with Dyneema, this racket is praised for its soft feel and ease of use by a wide range of players from beginners to intermediate. The excellent cost-performance ratio is also highly appreciated.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Soft ball-touch feel similar to wood rackets
    • Excellent ball retention and easy spin generation
    • Lightweight design (78-87g) for comfortable handling
    • Wide sweet spot enabling stable shots
    • Control-focused balanced performance for beginners
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveDespite containing special Dyneema material, the ball feel remains soft and wood-like. Lightweight and provides a strong sense of gripping and releasing the ball. Highly recommended even for those unfamiliar with special materials.
▽ CriticalThe tactile feedback from impact is somewhat lacking. Also, blocking requires practice to master, as the suppression effect is difficult to control. Some players may find the reduced rebound force insufficient.

Tomoyan (Experience: 4〜5 years) Soft feel, doesn't fly too much Verified Purchase

      Player reviews

I switched over from a 5-ply pure wood blade to try this out, and for a 7-ply-plus-special-material blade, it's on the lighter, softer side, and control feels pretty good. The sweet spot is wide, so you can hit consistent shots. Serving and receiving are no problem at all, but blocks are hard to keep under control and take some getting used to. I think this is a good blade for stepping up from beginner to intermediate level.

Chabby (Experience: 6〜10 years) A new frontier: 7-ply plus special material. Verified Purchase

      Player reviews

Setting aside what exactly Dyneema is as a material - what really stands out is that even hitting near the edge of the blade, the ball comes out feeling like you hit it dead center. I assumed a 7-ply blade would be "heavy and fly too much," but the weight is no different from a 5-ply, it grabs the ball firmly, gives a nice arc, and smashes land cleanly.

pingpongkozo (Experience: More than 20 years) A hitting feel close to pure wood Verified Purchase

      Player reviews

The feel is soft, close to a pure wood blade.
But since it has Dyneema special fiber inside, it bounces well and spin is easy to generate.
Coming from a pure wood blade, blocks feel like they bounce a bit too much, but I think that's something you get used to.
This is a blade I can recommend even to people who normally don't get along with special-material blades.

Comparing it to the Dynasty Carbon.
At 87g, the weight is about average for the number of plies.
I think that's because the core is balsa.
This blade has a lot of plies, but it's quite soft and feels stable.
It doesn't produce that much speed, but you get a decent amount of spin.
Because the core is balsa, the feel is a bit lacking, but the special material makes it bounce evenly, so there's not much sense of unpredictability.

For a blade around 15,000 yen, it's surprisingly easy to hit with - great value for money, and I'd recommend it as a first special-material blade too!!

very easy to use (Experience: 2〜3 years)

      Player reviews

It's on the softer side and the hitting feel is really pleasant. Even though the blade is thick, it felt light, and I could generate a lot of spin, which made it very refreshing to use.

beryl (Experience: 4〜5 years) When in doubt, this one!

      Player reviews

This blade is a 7-ply construction with two layers of Dyneema fiber built in on the inside. Just from that, I think a lot of people would assume it flies too much to be manageable. But the reality is it doesn't fly nearly that much. I've been using it for three months, and I'd like to share what I've noticed.
What I liked is that the ball-holding feel is excellent. That's probably thanks to it being a 7-ply blade. I think it's a great way to learn that sensation of firmly gripping the ball before hitting it. Since I was originally an outer-carbon blade user, I was really impressed by how well it holds the ball. Spin also comes on solidly, so I think it's fine even for people who normally struggle to generate spin.
On the flip side, the one thing I'd say isn't so great is that you don't feel much sensation on impact - that's the only shortcoming I can think of. But if that doesn't bother you much, I'd highly recommend this blade.
