NO.1 table tennis review site

Put the 2.1 on the Z side, used it on my backhand. I also tried it on my forehand just to see.

The sheet has good strength and lifts the ball up decently, but it doesn't lift as much as more recent rubbers, I'd say.
If you smack it hard, the trajectory is quite flat. Watch out for net misses.
Spin is there, but just so-so...
My impression was that it does produce speed.

Despite being rated 47.5 degrees, it felt soft to me.
The ball sinks in quite a bit.

It lifts a decent amount, but if you're not careful with your stroke it drops — it's hard to describe, but I used it for about two months and gave up on it.

If you have a habit of swinging too much upward and find it hard to correct your stroke, it might be worth trying.

I played with the 1.9mm version on an Innerforce Layer. Weight was 46.1g.
On my backhand I had V47.5 attached, so this is a comparison against V47.5 (hereafter "V").
Compared to V, the pip spacing on the sheet is wider, and you can feel the softness of the sheet on contact.
The trajectory is lower than V. I was hitting so close to the net it made me a bit nervous.
The feel is different, but in terms of trajectory alone, think of V as Tenergy 80 and X as Tenergy 64.
Though I'm not totally sure why, X felt harder to me.
Against backspin, if you're just brushing with the sheet there's not much difference from V, but for hard hits V had better stability because it produces more arc.
Also, there wasn't really anything X could do that V couldn't, so I think it's better to just use the more stable V. My backhand tends to be more of a meet-hit style, and even so I couldn't really tell what was so great about X.
If anything, it might suit people looking for a flatter, more direct trajectory.

I'm a chopper.
I borrowed a friend's. It's been a while since I was this impressed, so here's my review.
My first impression is that it spins but flies in a flat, direct line. When I hit a drive with a tension-style brushing stroke, it dropped a little short. But meet-hitting was very stable, and I could hit even from below table level. For backspin hits, meet-hitting to send it flying worked well, and looping it with a solid stroke worked well too. Chops fly in a flat, direct line thanks to the rubber's low sensitivity. Against loop drives it felt like it flew a bit more, but against hard hits it didn't fly and stayed low. I think this would suit choppers who can chop against loops but struggle to handle hard smashes.
I like hard rubbers, so I'm planning to mainly use the X50.0. I'll review again once I buy it.

Compared to V47.5. First off, the ball naturally rises and arcs, so meet-hitting is easy. In terms of spin, V47.5 wins out. This one is more of a speed-oriented Jekyll & Hyde.
