I'm the one who left a comment on the Shoryu 2.
It matches well with my blade, and I use it on my backhand — topspin rallies feel really good with it.
This is Yasaka's strongest rubber ever.
I was using Rakza X, but I switched to this one because I wanted to hit deeper on my backhand.
The best part was how good the backhand drive felt.

My first impression was that this rubber makes topspin rallies really easy, which surprised me a bit.
I saw it on this table tennis navi site and it looked like a good rubber, so I bought it.
After actually buying and using it, my impression was that it's a soft, great rubber.
When it comes to speed, spin, and control, it's simply the best.

If the ball rises even 1cm above the net, you can smash it even off backspin.
On top of that, flicks, blocks, regular drives, and chiquita all got about 50% more powerful. It suits me better than Dignics.
Once I got used to it, it flies so well that all I need to do is hold the racket gently and swing compactly. I'd heard that using a rubber that suits you makes you better, and this is the first time I've really felt that.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

When I put Rakza XX on my A side, I got better. It made me realize that "a rubber can cover for what you're weak at" is really true. It grips and spins well, and speed is about 30% faster. Grazing the ball gives you strong backspin. I'd always been told to smash a ball that's about two ball-heights above the net, but with this it seems fine even lower. It flies well, so you can hit compactly, which made switching between backhand and forehand more stable. I'm still studying how to swing to make the most of its performance. It has a big effect on the rubber on the B side too, so I'm also studying how I swing my backhand. Other reviews say it's on par with Butterfly's Dignics, and honestly, I stopped losing rallies even against people using Dignics. I've used the whole Rakza series (including PO and Z), and this feels like it concentrates the best qualities of the entire Rakza lineup. I have Rakza 7 Soft on the A side of my second racket, maybe for doubles? For singles I'll stick with Rakza XX. Within the Rakza series, XX really stands out. I'd recommend trying it at least once.

Someone who test-hit it told me "XX" gives double the performance of "X", so I bought it based on that recommendation.
I was using 7 Soft on my forehand and X Soft on my backhand, so this is a comparison of forehand XX vs backhand X Soft
For smashes, just blocking the ball made it about 50% faster. Chops stay low and go deep, and chiquita became stable, with fast, low balls going in.
I'm still not used to it so I've had a few more balls go long, but despite being hard it grips the ball firmly. I was surprised that I could smash almost any slightly high ball. It got about 15g heavier, and the racket's center of balance shifted slightly toward the head. Other members at my club suddenly started asking me "what happened?" The rubber got better, not me — that's really the only way I can answer. If you're okay with the extra weight, I'd recommend trying it at least once.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

I put it on an Arunade Inner blade at 51g.
From the forehand hitting stage already, it feels like it flies higher than other companies' tension rubbers.
On topspin drives against topspin, if you swing so the head rotates at the moment of impact, you can hit a drive where the ball sinks after the bounce and then extends. The amount of spin is more than satisfactory, and I often saw my practice partner's blocks go long.
On loop drives against backspin, lightly grazing the sheet lets you get even more spin than Dignics 05, and since it holds the ball better than Dignics, control was also very easy.
However, on speed drives against backspin, it was hard to generate as much spin as with loop drives, and combined with the soft hardness, I felt it lacked power.
The short game was easier than average. In particular, with chiquita I was able to lift even sharply cut backspin.
For serves, the same-side sidespin serve was a bit difficult, but with a YG serve where you dig deeply into the sheet, I was able to get a huge amount of spin.
Overall, I felt this is Yasaka's answer to Dignics 05, and if they advertised it more, it could take over the table tennis world.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard
