My first impression after hitting with it was that it feels like a half-high-elasticity, half-tension rubber.
Compared to other beginner-oriented rubbers, the feel is a bit flat, and the topsheet is clean — the grip on the ball isn't too strong, but it doesn't slip either, so there's almost no technique that feels hard to pull off.
Rather than brushing the ball thinly, I'd recommend sinking it into the sponge with roughly 50% spin contact — it's more consistent and still gives you decent power.That said, because of the rubber's characteristics, drives and shot power from mid-distance are tough, and the maximum spin is also on the lower side, so I felt you can't really compete on spin with serves or loops.

As the name "Spin" suggests, this rubber generates a lot of spin. It also has good grip, allowing for considerable spin on loop drives and other shots. Speed drives are also easy to execute, although a little power is needed on the backhand (for players with 6 months to 1 year of experience). Blocking is extremely stable. While pushing and brushing are good, a stronger impact and deeper grip will generate more spin. Its weakness is that smashing is incredibly difficult. When I used it, partly due to my technique, I made a lot of over-the-table errors. It holds the ball too long, so it's better to angle the racket face downwards considerably. Backhand hits are also difficult, making it unsuitable for hitting shots. The topsheet has a standard lifespan, but the sponge lasts a long time, maintaining sufficient performance for practice even after the topsheet started to slip. (The topsheet starts to slip after about 100 hours of use, but even after about 150 hours of use, the sponge hasn't deteriorated.) For the second and subsequent forehand sheets, I also put one on my backhand, but it was a little too early, so I think it's better for the third and subsequent backhand sheets. Sorry for the long post.

It generates a lot of spin, has enough bounce for a second-court ball, and offers excellent control for serves and other shots. However, when hitting drives against topspin, it often lifted too high and went over the table.

If you're staying with the same brand, this is the step-up rubber to get after Mark V.
It's easy to put spin on and easy to return the ball consistently — a long-lasting rubber with great value for money.

I use Rozena on my forehand and this product on my backhand (my blade is the Jun Mizutani Major), and just like the name suggests, it's easy to put spin on — even as a beginner I could crank out drives one after another. If there's a weak point, it's that it doesn't give you much speed. That said, I was able to easily pick up pushes, blocks, and serves too. If you're not sure what to get, I'd recommend this. (The hardness was a bit high for a beginner, so I think it's better suited to someone who's just past total-beginner level, i.e. a low-intermediate player.) Sorry for the long review.
