Softer pimples give more spin but are often not fast enough.
This has been overcome via High Tension technology, which adds enormous tension within the rubber's molecular structure.
Raystorm provides great control & great spin, while the High Tension adds that speed you've missed.

I use this for chopping. It can attack too, but what's really amazing is the heavy chop. Since it's a spin-oriented rubber, I think the control is on the higher end among short pips rubbers.

Even though it's short pips, you can put a ton of spin on the ball. On the flip side though, it's harder to produce the nasty knuckle balls and that fast, sharp "smack" speed shots that short pips are known for. It's definitely an easy rubber to use, but it's not the type that just scores points on its own. I'd recommend it for beginner to intermediate players learning technique, or as a rubber for advanced players.

This feels like a softer version of the Senrei. The spin is really excellent, and unlike inverted rubber, you barely see the spin drop off as it wears, which is a nice bonus. It's like the Senrei made more attack-oriented and more all-around capable, but of course choppers can use it too, so if you're a short pips user, it's worth trying - you won't lose anything by it!

You can hit it with a feel similar to inverted rubber, plus you can still throw in the knuckle balls that are unique to short pips,
so you can mix knuckle balls into a normal topspin rally, which I think is effective.
As for speed, it's not just fast off the racket - it also stays fast and skids through on the opponent's side, so it feels quite fast overall.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

This rubber makes it easy to put on spin. It doesn't feel much like a typical short pips rubber. I'd recommend it to anyone using short pips for the first time.
