It has good speed but still flexes, and spin is easy to put on.
Since it's all wood, you don't get that feeling of the ball flying off on its own, so it's easy to control.

I think both the sponge and the topsheet have just the right hardness, making it easy to use.
If you sink the ball in and hit, you get good speed, and since the topsheet grips the ball strongly, you get quite a lot of spin too.

It's a similar type of rubber to Tenergy, but it doesn't have that "holding the ball" feeling that Tenergy has, so I found this one easier to use.

You can hit it with a feel similar to inverted rubber, plus you can still throw in the knuckle balls that are unique to short pips,
so you can mix knuckle balls into a normal topspin rally, which I think is effective.
