Pen Meat (Experience: 6〜10 years) If you use it thinking it's 40-degree…

This is a comparison with Hexer SFX.
It's 40 degrees, but instead of the trendy spring-type sponge, it's a dense sponge with a firm sheet, so it feels harder.
The maker's pitch says it has a nice sound and good feel, but it barely makes any sound at all.
It's not an "auto" type rubber - it's for players who can swing with a good amount of power.
For use on the backside of a Chinese penhold, it feels a bit on the hard side. It's better suited to shakehand backhand or penhold backside players who hit with some impact.
The sheet is strong so you get a lot of spin, and the topspin drive has quite a high arc.
Counter-drives also feel reassuring since the ball doesn't drop even with a flat, horizontal swing.
It holds up fine against backspin too.
It's not for people who like a "sound" type rubber or a soft auto-type feel, but for a 40-degree sponge I felt the potential was quite high. All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard
