Swat Power Spin is praised for its excellent cost-performance ratio and ease of use, while concerns about durability and limited spin potential are noted. It's gaining popularity as a versatile rubber for beginners to intermediate players.
    ■ Frequently Mentioned Points
    • Outstanding cost-performance and solid basic performance
    • High speed performance with satisfying shot sound
    • Easy to use even for beginners and intermediate players
    • Concerns about relatively short lifespan
    • Excels in counter-attacks and drive strokes
    ■ Representative Voices
▲ PositiveSwat Power Spin improves on the sponge and sheet from the original, retaining lightness and good feedback while delivering better speed and spin. Incredible value for the price point.
▽ CriticalCompared to other rubbers of the same hardness, it doesn't fly as well and has a shorter lifespan. The sponge quality has issues—sometimes the ball drops unexpectedly with excessive contact.

      Sobacchi Outstanding value for money

      Reviews by user

It's similar to Glayzer or Red Monkey Spin, but given the price, I think this one is a good choice.

    • Leorio

Leorio (Experience: 4〜5 years) Quite fast, with spin on par with ¥6000-range rubbers

      Reviews by user

Using this on both sides of a Timo Boll ALC.

Backspin attacks are easy overall, and my flat kill drives are fast enough that people around me actually gasp.

Loop drives and the short game are both very easy too.
With an all-wood blade it grips the ball too much, so I personally found a carbon blade easier to hit with.

As for bounce, it gives back exactly what you put into your swing, so it takes some getting used to, but once you can handle it, I think it's a really excellent rubber.
Also, if you're not a fan of the bounce from Rozena's signature spring sponge, or if your counters and blocks tend to drop short, this is definitely the rubber for you instead.

With a hardness of 47.5, it can also counter without losing to the opponent's spin, which I rate very highly.

      As for durability, though —

    • (Experience: 4〜5 years) Great sound, speed, and price

      Reviews by user

      Using this on my forehand.
The speed beats out some mediocre high-priced rubbers.
The sound when you hit hard is incredible. Really exhilarating. The spin isn't lacking either.
Using this rubber, I was able to develop a stable mid-distance drive.
For these specs, this price is amazing.
However, at least with a soft blade, pushes have a slight slipping feel, floating up instead of biting in, which I found difficult.

Swat Power Spin (Experience: 2〜3 years) Once you get used to it, might be insane

      Reviews by user

At first it was hard to handle since pushes and the like would float up or go long, but once I got used to it, the ball started landing well, and backhand drives come up really nicely too. Pushes bite like crazy. I'd recommend this as something like your third backhand rubber.

Suica (Experience: 2〜3 years) Flies quite well

      Reviews by user

I was curious how it would compare to Swat Spin, but I found it to be an easy-to-use rubber that flies really well — a good rubber overall. If there's one concern, it's that the durability apparently isn't great.

crab (Experience: Less than a year) Different from Swat Spin

      Reviews by user

I'm not good at writing, so I'll just list my thoughts.

      - Bought at a physical store
      - Feels softer than I expected
      - Less spin than Swat Spin
Just brushing it lightly makes the ball drop
      - It flies in proportion to how hard you swing
      - Reminds me of Tenergy
      - I think it's a good rubber that even I, with only six months of table tennis experience, can handle
