The blade is thin, so it's easy to chop the ball.
On top of that, it adds control, so both serves and the short game are stable.
The top ply is a bit hard, so it also suits tacky rubber.
The downside is that being light, it doesn't have the heaviness you get from a heavier blade.
I think it suits a lot of people.
