I use Hurricane NEO3 Blue Sponge on my forehand, and I picked this up to create a difference in ball quality between forehand and backhand, and to make up for my slower backhand swing speed. The good points are:
- The stability and power of my backhand drives!
- In rallies, the automatic topspin it seems to add makes my connecting backhand shots way more powerful!
- Even with such high spin performance and stability, the ball quality still feels lively and fast!
I still haven't fully brought out its potential with my current skill level, but it's becoming a trump card against opponents who won't let me get a forehand drive in easily. As long as you can get past the cost, I felt that if you get used to consciously sinking the ball into the spring sponge to generate spin, your skill will definitely improve. In table tennis where the backhand's importance has clearly grown, I think this is about as great a rubber as you can get.
Beyond just making up for a slow backhand swing, the high spin and speed from its high energy-conversion efficiency, plus how the ball carries through, are essential for modern table tennis. Definitely use this on your backhand. If your backhand is your strong side, go for the 05!All Speed Spin Control Hardness Little soft

The spin is insane.
Drives in topspin rallies especially bite in hard.
With this, you really can't complain about your attacking game, so all that's left is to swing through with confidence.
Anyway, I'd describe it as a slightly more balanced Tenergy — one that, in a good way, files down the sharp edges of the 05.

This is meant for the backhand.
My impression is that it feels like a gentler version of Tenergy.
Spin is easy to generate, and things like chiquita and stop are very easy to pull off — I think it's more stable than Tenergy 05.

I'd recommend this to players whose swing speed isn't fast enough to get good shots out of Tenergy 05.
It's also good for players who prefer a softer rubber.

It doesn't really have that typical Tenergy feeling of the ball flying off wildly, so there's a reassuring sense that whatever you hit will land on the table.
Spin is very easy to generate, which makes short-game techniques like the chiquita easy to pull off.
I'd recommend putting it on your backhand — I'm currently using the thick version on my backhand as well.
It might be a bit tough for intermediate players, but I think this is the Tenergy to start with if you're getting into the series.All Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

Max thickness, 42.5g (no glue).
Used it on the backhand.
There are already plenty of detailed reviews out there, so I'll just note what stood out to me:
- Noticeably less bounce than 05
- Even a mediocre chiquita will still land on the table
- Blocks stay controlledIf you're after something light with rock-solid stability, I don't think you'll have any complaints with this one.
