The sponge is quite firm, but that firmness is exactly what makes it so fast.
On top of that, it's easy to produce knuckle balls with it, so I think it's a really annoying rubber for the opponent to face.Overall Speed Spin Control

The regular 05 (not FX) grips the ball amazingly well, but I always thought it was too hard to use on the backhand.
This rubber, though, has just the right softness and is really well suited for the backhand.

When I hit a drive, I get a real sense of the ball gripping the sponge, and I can put crazy spin on it.
It doesn't bounce too much, and it's also easy to vary the speed, which I think is a good point.

The speed is just incredible, so I've been winning a lot of points untouched on drives and smashes.

Neither the spin nor the speed is particularly high-level, but on the backhand it's easy to control, and you can throw off your opponent with counters.
