  Serves and pushes bite really well, and drives are easy too.
  Any player who underestimates how much spin short pips can put on this will get burned.
  It's a good match for Mizuno's Booster SA.
  The sponge is on the slightly softer side, giving a feel where the ball sinks in and then flies off.
  It doesn't fly off wildly on its own, and you can control it to a certain degree.
  It has the typical flat, straight trajectory of short pips, but compared to the VO>101,
  it felt like it draws a slightly higher arc.
  It doesn't slip, it's stable, and there's nothing in particular that's hard to do with it.
  That said, compared to the 101, it's harder to produce knuckle balls.
  It's well balanced and easy to handle. Having one sheet that can cover everything
  is a nice point for Japanese penhold pips players. I used it for a while myself.
  But when I asked opponents about it, they said:
  "It definitely has more spin than you'd expect from short pips, but it doesn't reach inverted rubber levels,
  so for someone used to that, it's not really a threat.
  It also lacks that nasty, tricky quality typical of short pips, so it's relatively easy to return.
  It's not suited for someone who can't properly vary their spin and stroke."
  If you're not focused on spin and want short pips that feels like classic short pips, I'd recommend a vertical-pip, speed-type short pips like Spectrum or the 101 instead.
  This really comes down to personal preference and what you prioritize.

  サーブ、ツッツキがよく切れますし、ドライブも容易です。
  表の回転量を甘く見ている選手は痛い目にあうでしょう。
  ミズノのブースターＳＡと良い勝負です。
  スポンジは若干柔らか目で、食い込んでから飛んでいく感じです。
  勝手に弾き飛びもせず、ある程度コントロール出来ます。
  表らしく直線的な軌道ですがＶＯ＞１０１と比較すると、
  若干弧線を描くかなという感じがしました。
  滑らずに、安定感もあり特にやり難い事は無いです。
  ただ、１０１と比較しますと、ナックルは出難いです。
  バランスが良く扱い易い。１枚で全てこなさなくてはならない
  日ペン表には嬉しい点です。私もしばらく使用しました。
  が、対戦相手に話を聞きますと、
  「確かに表にしては回転量はあるが裏ソフトには及ばず、
  それに慣れている選手にとっては脅威を感じる程ではない。
  表ソフトらしい「いやらしさ」も無いので割と打ち返し易い。
  回転量や打ち方にきちんと変化をつけられない人には向かない」との事。
  回転は重視せず、表らしい表をお求めならば、スペクトルや
  １０１のような縦目のスピード系表の方がお勧めです。
  ここは好みや重要視する点が分かれる所ですね。

  The blade is Chinese-style, but the grip is Japanese-style with a small cork piece where your index finger rests.
  It feels kind of like a round pen. The blade is on the thin side and hard. 3 plies of wood plus 2 layers of G carbon.
  The speed isn't much different from a 5-ply, and for a carbon blade it doesn't fly as much as you'd expect. The feel is hard.
  Some would say that's good since it doesn't overshoot. Still, you can get plenty of speed out of it.
  The trajectory is more straight-line than arcing. Personally I feel it pairs well with short pips.
  With the same maker's "Hammond FA Speed" on it, the feel and speed were great.
  You can hit fast shots while keeping stable ball control. Also, since the grip is short and thin,
  I think it'll fit women, kids, or men with smaller hands.
  If you're using inverted rubber and you like a hard feel, I'd go with a hard, thin Chinese tacky rubber.
  If you play close to the table with quick, light strokes, I think you can make good use of this blade's hardness and flex.
  That said, even among penhold players, opinions on this blade's grip and shape
  will be divided. If you're not used to the Japanese style and find the cork gets in the way when you hit the ball,
  then obviously the Chinese-style "Routis C" would be the better choice.

  ブレードは中国式、グリップは人差し指の当たる部分に小さなコルクが付いた日本式。
  丸ペンのような感じ。ブレードは薄めで硬質。木材３枚にＧカーボン２枚。
  弾みは５枚合板と大差なく、カーボンが入っている割には飛ばない。打球感はハード。
  飛び過ぎないから良いという捉え方もある。それでもスピードは出る。
  打球は弧線と言うよりも直線的に近い感じで飛ぶ。個人的には表ソフトと相性が良いと感じる。
  同メーカーの「ハモンドＦＡスピード」を貼っての打球感やスピードが良かった。
  速い打球を打ちつつ、ボールコントロールも安定。また、グリップ部分が短く細いので
  女性や子供、手が小さめの男性ならフィットすると思う。
  裏ソフトなら、ハードな打球感を心地良いと感じる方なら中国製の粘着系で
  硬め&薄めのラバーが良いかと。前陣で軽快に打つタイプなら、このラケットの硬さ、
  しなりを活かした打球が放てると思う。
  但し、ペンホルダー使用者でも、このラケットのグリップや形状は
  好みが分かれるとも言える。日本式に不慣れで、打球時にグリップのコルクが
  邪魔になるという方は、当然ながら中国式の「ルーティスＣ」の方がお勧め。
