I've used Bryce Speed before too, but there's no comparison.
Bryce High Speed is basically a Tenergy 64 with the speed turned up.
It gets plenty of spin and has a lot of speed too. But honestly, it bounces too much.
For someone like me who plays with Chinese tacky rubber on the forehand, it's an absolute wild horse.
That said, when I'm away from the table it's easy to use since it goes in just by making contact.
If you're switching straight from tacky rubber to this, be careful.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Soft

What surprised me when I opened it up was the size of the pips.
At first glance I thought I'd accidentally bought short pips instead.
The pips are quite large, and it clearly bounces more than your average long pips rubber.
The description calls it high-tension, but compared to inverted rubber it doesn't bounce much.
I used it as my backhand for chopping, and the feel was completely different from any long pips I'd used before —
it took a while to get used to. Once you're used to it, you can produce really sharp chops.
I've also tried it on a Chinese-penhold blade for blocking,
but since it bounces so much, I wouldn't really recommend that.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Little hard

As mentioned in the title, I'm using this on the backhand side.
The first thing that surprised me was the sponge cells!
They're pretty large cells.
The power transfer is a bit lower compared to the X or the 7,
but personally I find it perfect for consecutive backhand topspin drives.
Thanks to Hybrid Energy making it easy to control the strength of your shots,

It's got real power. I play a power game, so shots really fly off it. But they still go in — it's the best!

Since it didn't look like it would bounce much, I put it on my chopping blade.
It felt a little heavy. But it was easy to chop with.
That said, because it's strongly tacky, if you're not used to it you'll get thrown off by your opponent's spin, so you need some practice before it clicks.
If you serve with a grazing motion the ball really bites, and since it doesn't bounce much, stops are easy too.
It also feels like it doesn't have that much of the usual quirkiness you get with tacky rubbers.
Maintenance is essential, since it's the lifeline of any tacky rubber.Overall Speed Spin Control Hardness Hard
