I got tired of tacky rubber, and when switching to a tension rubber I saw a skilled junior high schooler using it on both sides, so I bought it on impulse...
Control is outstanding!
Drives go in consistently, you get good spin on it, and overall I think it's a really easy rubber to use.It depends on preference, but this is a gem you can use on both the forehand and backhand.

It's a high-elastic rubber, but when you hit it with a bouncy blade, it flies about as much as a tension rubber - it's a surprising one.
The spin is nothing special, but you can get good speed out of it, so I'd recommend it for players who like to play close to the table.

I love STIGA products, so I really want to buy and try all of them, but in the spirit of "try what you can afford quickly, that's what counts," I went ahead and bought the Kevtech too.
But then...
The feel was somehow a bit off.
It flies, but the control is bad.
Serves don't seem to bite well either.
Huh?
I thought it'd be a better blade than this...
Just like with ramen shops, opinions on this blade are going to be completely split.
For me, it's the type of place I won't be walking back into a second time.
I think it probably suits short pips.

It's a surprisingly mild-mannered blade for a 7-ply.
Of course you get speed when you hit hard, but it's not easy to produce really powerful shots.
Spin is very easy to put on the ball, though.

It's a carbon blade, but it handles like a bouncy 5-ply.
Blocks stop firmly, and short game shots stay on the table.
When you hit hard, the speed is no complaint at all, and drives are easy to put spin on — it's a genuinely great, easy-to-use blade.
