If you think of drive power as speed plus spin, the speed is plenty but the power feels a bit lacking. In other words, the actual amount of spin isn't that high — though since ease of use is the whole selling point, having each technique fully polished isn't really the priority here. I can't recommend it for choppers — when you chop with it, the ball just floats off in a boyoing kind of flight, doesn't grab much spin, and doesn't come in low and stable either, so there's nothing good about it for that. If you mainly rely on knuckle balls, it might just about work. Recommended for beginners, or for intermediate players' backhand side!

To me, the regular Rasant felt like an easy-to-use rubber, but this Rasant Hard turns into a completely different beast on hard hits. Since it's hard, the finer touch shots are easy to pull off, and it barely bounces at all on light hits. But because the sponge is hard, once you really dig the ball in, you get speed and spin that hold their own against modern high-tension rubbers. Still, it inherits the all-around versatility of the regular Rasant, so it's a rubber that can do everything except blocking, which is a bit tricky. I'd recommend it to players with strong power!

This rubber feels like something in between Curl P-4 and Feint Long III. One of the big draws of long pips is the value for money, and this one is cheap even at retail price! Trying something like Tenergy feels like a big step up, but pretty much anyone can pick this one up and use it. It doesn't have any weird habits and is easy to use! It's great for pushes, and it stops sudden blocks solidly too. That said, it doesn't have much variation, so it's best for either long pips beginners or advanced players who can create their own variation!

This is an all-around rubber that can handle anything. There's nothing particularly outstanding about its performance, but every technique comes out really stable. I'm not sure if this counts as a standout trait, but it's easy to produce knuckle balls. It does weird things when you block with a meaty hit. Of course it's also easy to add spin, but if I had to pick a defining feature for this honor-student rubber, that's about all I've got lol

This is a rubber built around Mark V's speed performance. It basically keeps that easy-to-use Mark V feel, so I think it's suited to beginners. For the short game, it obviously doesn't fly off as much as a tension rubber, so it's easy to control! It's no match at all for a tension rubber in terms of drive speed or spin, but since a lot of beginners and intermediate players haven't mastered tension rubbers yet, I think this is a good rubber to build fundamentals with first. I think it suits a softer blade well!
